This half term, as part of our Blood Heart topic, we had the opportunity to dissect a lamb’s heart so we could compare it to a human heart and the circulatory system. Working carefully, we identified the different atria and ventricles and explored how each chamber plays a vital role in pumping blood around the body. We loved seeing a heart up close and even had the chance to touch it!
