Y6 Mexican Heritage Afternoon
Year 6 pupils have been exploring the rich culture and history of Mexico as part of their learning this term. To celebrate everything they have discovered, the children enjoyed a Mexican Heritage Afternoon. During this, they practised speaking Spanish, created colourful, Mexican-inspired bean art and made some Mexican food. Working together, they made their own nachos, preparing fresh guacamole and salsa from scratch using a variety of ingredients which they all thoroughly enjoyed.
