Year 3 pupils had an exciting and memorable visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park where they explored a wide variety of animals and learnt all about their habitats and how they adapt to survive in different environments. Through immersive learning experiences, the children were able to see first-hand the importance of protecting animals and the similarities and differences between habitats around the world. Back in the classroom, the children used their experiences to deepen their understanding in Geography lessons, producing thoughtful discussions and detailed work inspired by what they had seen and learnt during the trip.
