Year 3 visited the railway bridge in Mirfield to learn about graffiti as a form of art. The children looked at the colourful murals and graffiti, talked about the different styles they could see and took photographs to use as inspiration back at school. After the visit, the children created their own murals using a range of materials, including spray paint, paint and colouring pencils. They also had fun writing their names in a graffiti style, using the ideas they had seen during their visit. The children really enjoyed this creative project and were proud of the fantastic artwork they produced.
