In September, our year five and six children took part in a maths adventure day. Their mission was to use their mathematical knowledge to save the school from an army of invading Robotrons!
The children really enjoyed working in teams to pass through a series of maths challenge zones. Each zone required the children to apply their reasoning and problem solving skills in practical, hands-on tasks. They collected codes to help them finally defeat the Robotrons in their secret server room.
It was an exciting day for all involved and it was fantastic to see the children applying their maths skills in such a fun way.
